after another strong day to the downside, we swept out Sellside Liquidity with a big push to the upside. Found my entry at the 3m FVG and played a base hit to a STH (short term high). The main reason why i didn’t let these run into the ITH’s (Intermediate term highs) is because time was reaching the end of the session.
It’s the weekend now folks. On these days during the week the best thing you can do is review all of your trades that you did this week, backtest, learn from your losses or what you could’ve done to manage risk better on your wins. Sharpen that blade folks. This an everyday hustle even if markets are closed!
this is why I only trade $NQ, during NY session, trading the same models and setups i’ve been refining each day as a day trader. Too many tickers, too many sessions, and too many strategies/indicators can distract you from becoming a perfectionist. Remember, your edge is everything.
Here’s my story. I am a 20 year old daytrader that’s been trading futures & options for the last 2.5 years. Was unprofitable for the first year and went through a whole lot of trials and tribulations to get to where i’m at today…profitable. Just a couple months ago I was working 2 jobs, 16 hours each day, 4 times a week. But all for 1 purpose. See, I didn’t work to keep on working…I worked to fund my passion in order for me to never work again a day in my life. Those 16 hours each day exhausted me to the point where I never want to work again. Although I had 16 hours of work each day, I was still trading and learning more and evolving my system. I purposely tortured myself, trading time for money to revolutionize how much of a game changer it is to trade your money for money. Freedom is what I’ve been chasing ever since I was 17/18. Super ambitious they say. Well as for something I want to look back on, I’m ready for the next chapter in my life. Some may ask “what’s that next step”. Well, my next step is to build a great community for all beginner, intermediate, and experienced traders. Creating them not only another source of income, but to teach and show other traders how to trade profitably, pass accounts, and get payouts. What I have noticed across the last 2.5 years is that I absolutely love to teach this Niche naturally. It’s a passion of mines that I could never give up. Even when the stock market took $10,000+ my first year trading, it only made me more stronger and more ambitious. I’d like to share with you all and help you all as best as I possibly can. Making other people money has also been a passion of mines, but teaching people HOW to make money through trading intrigues me even more. I’ll look back at this post later on to congratulate my success weather it’s through trading and/or building a sustainable community. Thank you all in advance. Much Love.

Cash all day today 💰 Always remember, no trades is 100% better than a winning/losing trade with no strategy or thesis behind it! Especially it being FOMC we don’t want to hold onto irregular moves that’l knock us out of our positions due to volatility. See yall tomorrow 👍🏽

Usually around market open it gets very volatile, as this is the time where the big dawgs trade. Although none of us are those “big dawgs” (correct me if i’m wrong) the best thing we can do is trade alongside them. We trade where the smart money is moving. DO NOT go against the grain or you WILL reap those consequences. Gauge price action and trade price action like the banks and you will be rewarded.
