10E went outdoors to learn how water moves around a meander bend. Key learning points included faster flow on the outside of the bend causing erosion and the formation of a "river cliff". Slow flow on the inside of the bend led to deposition and the formation of a "slip-off slope

Our Year 11 Occupational Studies group visited the Bishop's Gate Hotel for a careers masterclass. The boys had the opportunity to learn about different roles within the hotel, they were given a tour and a delicious lunch ( Continues ..) @BGHDerry

๐ฆPupils in class 841 had the opportunity to spend a great morning with Karen Healy from the NI Bat Group. The pupils learnt about different types of bats, including the 3 species native to Ireland. They also completed quizzes and played interactive games. Many thanks Karen.๐๐ฆ

Pupils from 9E took part in a forum with visitors from the Department of Infrastructure on Thursday to discuss plans for the future of public transport within Derry. Some great ideas were shared and the boys made a valuable contribution to the process. ๐๐ @StJosephsDerry
