We are so proud of our young people who achieved Duke of Edinburgh Awards last week! 👏14 achieved Bronze Awards and 6 Silver Awards !! The young people that made it along to the Royal concert hall loved the awards ceremony! Well done!!@DofEGlasgow

This week we were delighted to deliver our first harvest to a fantastic community cafe at The Birgidale Complex in Castlemilk! Our young people are growing flowers, herbs, fruit and vegetables in our fantastic school garden space to help the local and school community!

Our S2 wider achievement classes enjoyed replanting our vegetable seedlings in our outdoor learning space and conserving the school wild spaces @JohnMuirTrust

The Eco committee enjoyed learning new skills working with the willow in our outdoor learning space yesterday. Lots of good techniques and knowledge passed on from Stuart @cassiltoun

Our S2s are enjoying conserving biodiversity in our outdoor classroom and garden by creating small recycled bug hotels for winter! @JohnMuirTrust @RHSSchools

1P2 really enjoyed exploring local wild spaces. Especially the wildlife corridor that links Cathkin Braes to Castlemilk park. Some of us glimpsed a deer! Plenty of conservation issues to deal with to help improve this space too! @JohnMuirTrust
