nobody plays monopoly because of the paper money.
you see, monopoly was never really about money.
if it was, nobody would still be playing a board game that uses fake cash.
think about that moment when someone lands on your property and has to pay rent.
was it really about the money? or was it the feeling?
➵ the feeling that you built something.
➵ the feeling that you owned a piece of the board.
➵ the feeling that everyone else had to play around you.
humans have always been drawn to status, influence, territory, and belonging.
that's why kingdoms existed, that's why communities form.
and it's why so many NFT projects felt empty once the hype disappeared.
they gave people assets to own, but very little to do with them.
@5th_Kingdom is built around a different idea:
what if ownership was just the beginning? 🧵

seventeen thousand years ago, someone pressed pigment into a cave wall with their bare hands just to prove they existed.
today, we generate ten thousand images in seconds and forget them just as fast.
somewhere along the way, art stopped feeling human.
but a few artists still refuse to rush.
for over 20 years, @DKashtalyan {Dima Kashtalyan} has been building worlds dot by dot, wall by wall, story by story.
now that obsession is arriving onchain through @thebeaksart.
and honestly? It doesn’t look like most NFT art at all.🧵

one lesson crypto taught me?
conviction is easy… until money is involved
in Q1 2025, @SrPeters teased an NFT drop for his community
i locked in early
subscribed, stayed active, showed up daily
the project was called Sr Manzano
and the hype was real
mint got delayed from march 16 → march 21, but the energy didn’t drop
if anything, it got stronger!
i told myself one thing:
“don’t panic sell. hold your position.”
i promised myself to “diamond hand” and not “paperhand”
i was always in his comment section shouting “ i will not paperhand” 😭😭
launch day came, i got my piece and suddenly… everything changed
• same project
• same conviction
• but now there was a price attached to it
fear kicked in…
“what if it dumps?”
“what if i lose everything?”
“what if the hype dies down?”
“what if my friends lock in profit and i don’t?”
so many “what ifs” in my head
so i sold… at $340
felt smart for a moment, and then i got excited
then i watched it run to $900 and that’s when it hit me
…the hardest part in crypto isn’t entering early
it’s trusting your conviction when it actually matters
because it’s easy to say “diamond hands”
when there’s nothing at stake
but when it’s real money?
that’s where most people fold and it’s obvious that i folded (not proud of that tho😅)
lesson learned the hard way:
build conviction for a reason… and have the discipline to stand by it!

the video attached to this post was not done by me, it’s the announcement video for the nft (Sr Manzano) that was dropped by SrPeters back in March 2025 before the official launch of the NFT.
