Not played with each since club junior hockey and today reunited on the pitch together, playing for the same uni 🫶🏼

What uni is hockey all about 🤩

I also got asked to captain the team today which was a huge honour ❤️

February 2022, after 7.5 months I was cleared to run

May 2022 I had to have 4 weeks off running due to having surgery to have metal work taken out, then had to rebuild

Today I just ran my first continuous 5km sub 26 minutes (pace 05:11 per km) felt good and could push more 😄😄

What a day.

3 months post screw removal and 13 months post TPO and made my return to hockey AGAIN.I can’t stop smiling! Mix of pain in my hips but what’s important is it’s feeling the best it ever has.

Never give in, it’s possible if you put your mind to it! #hipdysplasia

On holiday and the grind don’t stop… slowing it down a little bit to enjoy the holiday. However a tough little 3km with my dad this morning! 5:24min/km, stopped a few times due to really bad air quality as a result of the Gironde wildfires happening close by! But we got it done!

Progress… 🔥 Getting stronger by the day! Hit 3 pbs (post op) this week all to do with lower body. Next week starting change of direction running.

I may have not been shortlisted, but this really means a lot! I was not nominated by the Social 7s team at UoB who I have coached this season for Student coach of the year. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to coach them and develop my coaching skills 🏑❤️
