@tarekfad The energy cost of producing one Tesla Model S Long Range battery pack is equivalent to about 9 barrels of oil, which is equivalent to 1,431 litres. Not counting for the cars body parts that require oil barrels to produce. I think oil consumption will increase nevertheless.
