Stockmon is live.
Play to earn real stocks.
Burn 100,000 $MON to receive a Stockmon NFT. Every Stockmon begins with a single stock stat line. That stat has two functions: it contributes directly to the characterโs in-game power and passively accrues stock dividends that can be claimed through the character portal.
From there, progression is earned through the game.
Battle other Stockmons and complete quests to gain XP. As a Stockmon levels, its stat lines become stronger and the accrual rate attached to its stock stat increases.
Stockmons can evolve through three stages. Each evolution expands the character, with additional stock stat lines becoming available as it progresses toward its Level 3 final evolution.
Every Stockmon is also fully tradable through the marketplace. Its stock metadata stays attached to the NFT when traded, meaning the character and the progression built into it move together to the next holder.
The wider economy is funded through a 2/2 tax. That pool is used to accumulate the stock dividends distributed across the player base. As participation and trading activity grow, more value flows through the same system and into the dividend pool.
Hatching creates the other side of the economy.
Every hatched egg requires $MON to be permanently burned at a stable rate. As more Stockmons are created and the ecosystem grows, $MON continues to leave circulation.
Play. Battle. Evolve. Trade.
Earn stocks through Stockmon.

Marketplace is open.
Any minted creature can go up for sale now. Open the sell tab, type a price, sign with your wallet, done. Listing costs nothing and it's a real Seaport order, not a queue inside our game.
It stays yours until someone buys it. The creature sits in your box, its book keeps paying you, and if you change your mind you pull the listing down.
Buying is one confirm. The token lands in your wallet and the creature is in your box next time you sign in, book and all, dividends included from that moment.

How the 6% Pons Tax works.
Every sale on $MON carries a 6% tax. 1% goes directly to Pons. The other 5% goes straight into the game ecosystem.
That 5% is used to accumulate stocks that pay dividends for StockMon portfolios. Every minted creature carries a book, and the wallet holding it collects the dividends on that book: level 1 on the first holding, level 2 on the first two, level 3 on the whole book.
Patch notes:
You could build fence posts on open water. Not anymore, the build tool refuses the sea with its own red toast.
While we were on the coast: a stranger can't take your boat anymore, the ferry marker points at the actual ferryman instead of the dock, and a boat can come into the village harbour without being bounced.
First StockMon creatures are minted and live on chain, and they've started earning dividends.
Every creature carries a book of tokenised stocks. Once it's minted, the dividends on that book go straight to the wallet holding it. Level 1 pays on the first holding, level 2 on the first two, level 3 on the whole book, and you can keep levelling after the mint.
You burn $MON to mint. After that it's yours, on chain, and it pays you for holding it.
Any creature you have minted can go up for sale, and listing it costs nothing. You open the sell tab, type a price, sign with your wallet, and the order goes to Seaport.
It stays yours until somebody buys it, and if you change your mind you pull the listing down.
Everything you have done in Stockmon ends up in the same bag. The wood you chopped, the ore you carried back, the bars it became, the seed you kept and the pie you baked from the rest, all in one place, open from anywhere with a single key.
It is sorted so you never have to hunt, with a tab for materials, refined goods, produce, seeds and tools, and a search if you would rather just type the name.
It is also where you eat. When the bar runs low you open the bag, pick what you can spare, and press one key. The bag is not a screen you manage, it is the pocket you reach into.
This is the whole mint, start to finish. You open the sheet on a creature you caught, press mint, and the game tells you what it costs in MON. Your wallet asks you to sign, then to approve the burn, then to send it.
The coin does not go to us. It goes to the dead address and leaves the supply for good, and about half a minute later the creature shows up in your wallet as an ordinary ERC-721 with its book written into the token.
Your monster has a P&L, because every line on the sheet remembers what the price was when it got stamped and the feed knows what the price is today, so the difference between the two just shows up as a percentage on the right.
If you check this one a month later you get one line that's up, one that's down and one that ran into the cap, which is exactly the kind of thing people already do with a portfolio except now it's a creature.
The creature stays frozen while the number on it keeps moving.
Breeding is the only thing in the game that destroys a creature, because two go in, one comes out, and both parents are gone for good.
The kid gets both books merged together with one extra line, and whatever doesn't fit gets cut starting from the smallest, so you're always trading two spread-out books for one concentrated one, and the game shows you exactly what you'd get before you pay a single coin.
You're not making more stock when you do this, you're concentrating a book, and everything that went into it is gone.
Every creature has a sheet, and it's basically three tickers with how much of each it's holding and which stat that feeds into, so when you look at it you're looking at the whole creature.
This one came out with chip stocks because I caught it in Silicon Wilds, and if I'd caught it somewhere else it would have rolled from a different set of tickers, which is why where you hunt actually matters.
When you mint it, this sheet is what gets frozen onto the token.
One keypress, and the corner inset becomes the map.
The inset is sixty-eight by forty-eight at four tiles to the pixel. the world is three thousand and seventy-two on a side. Nothing else in the game states its own scale that plainly.
And you can keep walking while it is open๐บ
The fire is doing something.
A firepit heals the team, and a tent is where a lost run carries you back to - so a camp is the difference between dying somewhere and dying somewhere that costs you the walk home.
Pick the spot with that in mind๐ฅ
You cannot catch this one.
Monsters are not StockMon. no dex row, no lure - throw one and it tells you so.
what a raid boss drops instead is fragments, and five of them assemble a creature outright.
That is the point of them: the grass gives you what it feels like giving you, and a lair gives you two fragments every single time.
It is the route for the player whose luck has run out๐ฃ
Most creatures out here ignore you. Some do not.
A elite notices from about four tiles and comes at just under a walking pace - so you can outrun it, and choosing not to is a decision rather than a fight the game picked for you.
The only thing that starts one you did not ask for๐
The ridge at sundown.
Nobody is doing anything. they walked up here, they are looking at it, and in a minute they will walk back down.
That is the whole clip๐
Stalls at the edge of the wood.
Not every market is a market square. most of the trading in the game happens at little posts like this one, half a minute off the path.
Somebody is always set up out here๐ชต
The caves are the one place the daylight palette gets put away.
Crystals are the only light source down here, so the whole colour scheme changes the moment you go under.
Worth the walk in๐
The wood opens up, and something is standing in the clearing.
Twice the size of anything else that walks, with its name and its level over its head - you get to read both before you step into the ring.
A boss and two escorts, and the escorts are a class the boss is not, so there is no one creature you can park in front and coast behindโ
A boost counts once per class.
So three of the same creature is one boost, and three different ones is three. the roster is a set of answers, not a leaderboard.
Collect wide, not deep ๐พ
