The most interesting finding here is that even among Brexit voters, just one-in-five still think it has been a success, and yet still no major political party is willing to say we should think again.
If you really don’t want to answer questions about ministers breaking the ministerial code, don’t appoint ministers who have broken the ministerial code. Seems pretty straightforward.
Braverman is a blight on our politics, our country, our wellbeing. A grotesquely unprincipled, dismally unprofessional, fascistic horrorshow who dreams of forced deportations and whips up fear and loathing for personal power.
The sigh of relief when she goes will be immense.
We really don’t need the Farage foghorn on Newsnight telling us Brexit has failed. Of course it has.
It was entirely dishonest, functionally idiotic, socially regressive, internationally discrediting, economically dire and politically toxic.
And he’s its nasty little mascot.
That National Conservatism convention really is the end isn't it. The fact so many leading and even Cabinet figures are attending. A political party pissing itself to death while still in government.
Priti Patel accuses Sunak of presiding over “the managed decline of the Tory party”
Wrong again Priti.
It’s v much a team effort.
You got rid of the ones who could think.
You’ve been wildly corrupt and dishonest.
You’re a bunch of cultists who can’t govern and don’t give a shit.
Seeing the usual suspects throwing their toys out of the pram over the rethink of the Retained EU Law Bill.. and blaming the civil service, calling them ‘the blob’, is so tediously predictable. Such tantruming cultists, passionately ignorant about everything they want to break.
💪🏽 A great achievement that this ideologically driven and dangerous bill has bitten the dust
😢 But we’re still falling behind EU standards on environment and workers’ rights because of Brexit

"The purpose behind this legislation was not to make it easier for police to deal with criminal behaviour, it was to make it easier for people to be arrested without committing any crime at all." https://t.co/QOlRJn4OnL
Yesterday I got arrested whilst filming a @JustStop_Oil supporter holding a banner on the pavement near the coronation route. I'm a filmmaker and had my @BECTU press accreditation visible around my neck.
Police deemed this to be "conspiracy to commit a public nuisance".
