@4seam_upnn @FarabaughFB Just trying to read between the lines. Tbh, when heard about Hurts, my mind went directly to the vax because I recently heard Matt Brash from the Mariners talk about recovering from blood clots. His doctor told him it was due to getting the J&J shot.

I knew very little about EFTC, so I did a bit of research. It looks like a bad idea, and I'm all for reducing taxes! :) This just doesn't look like a viable way of doing it. It looks more like a money grab for SGO's that don't necessarily disperse the funds back to kids wanting or needing it. If he simply made a law that parents could deduct up to $1,700 of their tax liablilty that they spent on private education, I think that would be a much more viable solution.

@eurythmic_king @FarabaughFB It's conjecture. I can't tell you how many times I've heard Rodgers bring up the fact that the league was wrong in making them take the vaccine. Maybe I'm wrong. It could very well be that he's hinting at something else. Odds are, that's exactly what he's referring to.

@BENUSMN @FarabaughFB Just to finish the thought, it was Matt Brash of the Seattle Mariners. That interview popped in my head when I heard about Hurts. Admittedly, I’m no doctor! :) Sometimes I make connections that aren’t there.

Pretty sure Rodgers is hinting that Jalen Hurts is probably having clotting issues due to his Covid vax. TBH, it’s the first thing I thought of when I heard about Jalen’s clotting. Given his age and everything, it’s the most likely cause. Not a doctor though, so don’t come at me. :)

"I don't have a close relationship with Jalen. Obviously, we're in the quarterback fraternity, so you don't want to see anything like that happen to anybody. Especially a guy who's still in football. Obviously, I don't know all the details about what's going on. All I've seen is what's been printed. The guy in charge of all things medical at the NFL office, he and I haven't always seen eye-to-eye about things. So, I can't say I'm real surprised."

Not sure what you mean by “someone like me?” Regardless, I just heard a recent interview with an M’s player who had to miss half a season because of clotting. His doctor told him it was because of his J&J vax. So, that’s where my brain went when I heard about Hurts. Also, Rodgers brings it up a lot.

That’s the only player I had EVER heard about having clotting issues at the time. Since Covid, it’s MUCH more common. There’s an M’s player right now who missed half a year due to clotting. His doctor told him it was due to him taking the Johnson and Johnson vax. So, that’s where my brain went when I heard about Hurts.

@hwateverusai @FarabaughFB I could be mistaken, but that’s been his go-to beef with Goodell. As often as he brings up the NFL forcing players to get the “jab,” I’m pretty sure that’s what he’s getting at here. To me, it seems pretty obvious that’s what he’s saying, but I could be wrong.

@AaronLevine_ Everyone freaking out forgets that he had a 5 interception game last year versus the Rams... He turned it around and we went on to win a Super Bowl. Not saying the same will happen this year, but it definitely points towards resiliency IMHO.
