@sergiopAnsel I just read up a bit more on the topic and it’s exactly what I figured. They’re NOT fighting to keep fake nudity in. They’re saying that the law goes well beyond nudity and they don’t want to police their AI for all the stuff outside of nudity that the law includes.

Grocery stores operate with 1-2% profit margins already so taxpayers will have to subsidize 30% discounts on groceries.

It also threatens to shut down local markets and bodegas (and reduce access to food), because they have to compete with the city stores, while also paying commercial rent and earning profits.
