Firmus – I called the valuation "delusional" on @ausbiztv this morning.

One of the major industry funds has refused to take stock. OpenAI, SB Energy and Oura have all delayed their IPOs in the US, but not Firmus in Australia.

$215 million worth of broker fees ensures a lot of self-interested commentary and coverage. I think we'll look back and see this as the peak attempt to exploit data centre sentiment. Only this time, it's on Australian soil.

The upcoming Firmus IPO has plenty of red flags, 1 being that
Firmus Co-founder Oliver Curtis was convicted of insider trading in 2016. After his release, he moved into cryptocurrency mining, founding what became Firmus.

However, he Biggest Red Flag for the upcoming Firmus IPO, imo, is that Assad Tannous has allocation and promoting it amongst his clients. 😏
