Additionally there are plant physiology products on the market that carry these hormones which allow you to "control" the growth patterns of your crops.

Cyto is naturally produced in the roots (new root tips). So you need constant new growth in the roots to keep this ratio in balance for tillering to occur.... 1/2

@steeke7@ZRAgri Yes absolutely! You want more ears on your corn plant increase its internal Cytokinin signal. Taking it to a smaller degree, this ratio will determine your kernel rows/ear, beans per pod/pods per internode/internode spacing even.
@ZRAgri@steeke7 Branching is naturally achieved when a plants internal hormones reach a certain ratio (Cytokinin>Auxin). Decreasing populations allow for greater root growth. Roots are where Cytokinin is produced in the plant. The more root growth the more Cytokinin your plant will produce.
