"That's what gives me enjoyment, is seeing those guys take that belief that we have in them and then they take it to the game."
As Wes Johnson watched Georgia's Matt Scott pitch against Liberty, he saw something gratifying. ⬇️

@PowellJohnT I still don’t get why he charged on the field toward Tre. What was he going to do by protecting his guys from something he did not know what was said. NOBODY is actually talking about how this guy lost it and charged at a college kid. He lost it and should be suspended too.
@NCAA Actually, 2 field umpires were having to hold the Liberty head coach back. What was he going to do? Put his hands on Tre. At the end of the day, Liberty HC lost his cool & suffered no punishment for actions. He never intended to go talk to an official. He went after Tre.
So are we just going 2 act like the Liberty head coach did not go at a college kid? @NCAABaseball@NCAA@SEC He had 2 be told a 2nd time not to come on the field by the guy in the white shirt next 2 the dugout. I know this is true because I witnessed it.
He did not go to the home plate umpire. He was halfway up the base line hollering & screaming at Tre. The tape does not lie. The 1st base umpire is having to basically hold him back. If this is protecting his players..Wow! Do better @NCAA
@Russell___Smith Did not happen!!!!! Flat out lie about grabbing his crotch. Also, the brush of the hand gesture to the 1st baseman was because he was running his mouth. Lastly, you can CLEARLY see tbe 2nd baseman whining as Tre is halfway to second.
Liberty HC had be chirping all game.

What actions or words did he use 2 deserve this? The home plate ump & Head Coach 4 Liberty should have 2 answer 4 what was actually said. Not what he “thought he heard”…Just saying. If you throw a kid out, there should be accountability.
