@Mrgunsngear Springfield MA seems more feral than I remember. It wasn't great 30 years ago. We would go the the Red Rose near downtown for special evenings. (I think some of the waitresses are the same from 30 years ago!)
@MrDarkStormz@Mrgunsngear What the heck is that? Very cool but, I still think my Standard Manufacturing DP-12 will be more reliable in an oh-shit moment! (We could use that auto 12 for home demo before remodeling!)
There was no cancel culture then. No longer can one be an idiot, say stupid things, and have an opportunity to grow from experience. Slightly different, but I often think of the burden leaders had, leading men, and making mistakes, losing those young men you love. How did Eisenhower, Grant, Lee and others do it? (Was Patton different?)
My Mom is 79 and suffering from Alzheimerβs and dementia. I walk with her each day I can. Today we did about 3 miles. She cannot speak very well. But, she shared the flowers she found enjoyable. The water on the pond was pretty. Petting a neighbor's horse. Fresh cut grass smalled good. The three miles were peaceful with shared experiences. Tough to beat.
@GovTimWalz Shut up clown. I hope you, and the rest of the fraudsters, are exposed, tried, found guilty and sentenced for all the theft. We need 1000 Nick Shirleys.
@infantrydort I hope to take my son and grandson to Normandy someday. My concern is the world they fought to save has been lost. I don't recognize England when I am there.
