This stat has been making its rounds lately. The problem is that those exonerations, although disproportionate, make up about 0.02% of convictions. Statistically irrelevant. Sorry bro, convincing America that black people aren’t disproportionately criminals is a losing argument. It also suggests we no longer need social reform in the areas that would cause this (poorer education outcomes, income disparities, etc). Stick to the systemic racism claims, not the bogus narrative that these discrepancies are fake. We live here. We know black criminality exists in MUCH higher numbers than white criminality, and the stats are there to back it up.
