We found a freshwater jellyfish off Stone Lab’s dock! Non-native jellyfish measuring around 5 to 8 mm. They sting prey, but their stingers are too small to penetrate human skin!
There have been multiple sightings of them around the islands over the weekend and at Erie, PA.
The dog days of summer will be here before you know it! Want to spend the summer learning on an island and out on Lake Erie?
