@JetstarAirways decides to fully board a plane while doing engine tests on an oil leak, then take everyone off the plane after declaring it unsafe. Why not wait until the plane is declared safe BEFORE boarding it? 🫠
@VLine what is going on with the 17:29 Waurn Ponds?! Been stuck for 45 minutes. No updates. Are you serious? Keep saying 5 more minutes. VLine is not a serious organisation.
@Qantas why are you so bad now. Every time I fly the plane gets held up “waiting for the crew”. Are they sleeping? If you schedule a flight you should schedule crew for the flight. Virgin is so much better.
@HeathTudor1@traderadio@CalTwomey The real reason for Geelong’s success is the ability to transform rookies, delisted players, and draft picks over 40 into superstars. Everyone has access to top end draft talent (Geelong least of anyone). But very few clubs can develop talent that other clubs overlook.
@HeathTudor1@traderadio@CalTwomey So you’re saying Geelong’s success can be attributed to the club getting more out of its older players than other club’s are capable of doing? I agree! Too old, too slow right!
@nathandg12@traderadio@CalTwomey They can’t do as they wish… The players agreed to renegotiate his contract. It’s the player’s choice. If he didn’t like the terms on offer at Geelong he could’ve stayed at GC, or gone to Hawthorn/Essendon. It seems that holistically Geelong have offered a great package.
@HeathTudor1@traderadio@CalTwomey Geelong’s top 10 draft picks in the 2022 GF side (or would have been if not F/S) were Selwood and Hawkins (both 34), Dangerfield (32), Rohan (30) and Cameron (29). So 5/23 players. All drafted over 10 years ago. It hardly matters.
@MrWinn84@spy_cable@smorganism@traderadio@CalTwomey Correct - I follow the AFL, where clubs and players are treated semi-autonomously and given the power to make decisions in what they believe are their best interests. GC benefitting from surplus draft hand and Geelong benefitting from best culture.
@MrWinn84@spy_cable@smorganism@traderadio@CalTwomey Why would the AFL prevent contracts being renegotiated? That’s a matter between a club and the player. Or should the AFL negotiate every player’s contract and run all of the clubs?
