Since yesterday, I have been inundated with messages and calls from different people asking to confirm if what they saw online about me being engaged to marry a mathna is true or not. While I have confirmed publicly and privately for those who matter, I have also chosen to ignore the trolls whose daily life affairs revolve around joblessness, small talks, idleness, and lack of self-respect. It is not my desire to engage or banter with anyone beneath me or who I owe zero obligation over my decision. Neither do I owe any apology for it.
Frankly speaking, while I agree with those who hold the view that the manner of public notification was not exactly right, it was not my desire to hide my decision from the public, as it is what I am proud to stand by, before God and man, regardless of whose irrelevant ox is gored and I take full responsibility for it and it’s my pray that Allah continues to protect my family as a whole, from evil eyes, evil minds and rumour mongers.
Also, by Allah, if/when I am sufficiently blessed and capable beyond my present position, and it is destined that I would marry more, I will never hesitate to do so. What I only pray and beseech Allah regularly, is never to test me or make me be involved with any woman or children, in a marriage, whom I would not be capable to do right by, justly and fairly, as He commanded. The day I am tempted to be unjust and unfair to anyone against the will of Allah, He should take me. I also pray against challenges that will be more than what I can handle or bear.
My priority is my family and I will live the rest of my life putting them first. Whoever is not pleased with that should continue to live in the sadness of their choice and while I continue to bask in the happiness of mine.
On a final note, many thanks to those who sent in their prayers and good wishes, I pray that happiness shall not cease in your households too. We will still have many more things to rejoice and celebrate with one another. Amen. 🙏
Thank you.

Above the ground, a family gathers around a table, sharing warmth, food, and quiet laughter.
Below the ground, soldiers crouch in the cold, holding cups with trembling hands, swallowing fear instead of comfort.
One table is lit by love, the other by duty.
One knows peace, the other protects it.
While some are home celebrating life, others are buried in the earth, choosing sacrifice so strangers can sleep without hearing gunfire.
This is the unseen cost of peace
paid quietly, far from the table,
by those who never ask to be thanked.

You all need to start focusing more on character when choosing who to date or marry.
Looks, vibes, and sweet words can fade, but character stays. It’s the real foundation of any relationship.
You can’t build peace with someone whose values clash with yours, no matter how good the chemistry feels.
To know who aligns with you, watch actions, not words. Anyone can talk about love, loyalty, and respect, but only a person with strong character will show it through consistency.
Pay attention to how they treat people who can’t benefit them, waiters, cleaners, or strangers. That’s where real character shows.
Also, notice how they handle conflict and correction. If they get defensive, shift blame, or refuse to admit when they’re wrong, that’s a warning sign.
A person who can’t take correction will make communication hard in the long run.
Don’t ignore their attitude toward responsibility and honesty. Someone who keeps small secrets, lies about little things, or avoids accountability will do worse when the stakes are higher.
Integrity isn’t about being perfect, it’s about being real and owning up when you fall short.
Take your time to observe patterns. People can pretend for a few months, but their real self always shows over time. Character is revealed, not announced.
So slow down, pay attention, and don’t let emotions blind you. The right person for you is not just someone who makes you happy, but someone whose values and mindset align with yours.

Every time Nigerian men start crying about “women only caring about money,” I just laugh. You people built this thing yourselves 😂
You were sending 100k to random babes at weddings, crediting “fine girls” because “you’re too beautiful to be hustling,” and measuring love by how much you can spoil her. "I dy spoil my woman so that another man go dy fear to toast am if them see my doings🤡"
Now you’ve turned attention into a transaction and affection into an allowance, and you’re shocked women act like ATMs looking for every opportunity to drain you? Please rest
Abi no be the same Nigerian men that started “what’s a fine girl like you doing under the sun?”
Or the same ones that go behind their broke friends to use money sleep with their babe?
You didn’t raise queens, you raised commodities. Enjoy your creation. 🤡🤡
Jealousy is an ancient inheritance in man... Look at CAIN... He proved it long before Judas perfected it. He murdered his own brother and asked God if he was his brother's keeper. Men compete for crowns that were never theirs to wear and for thrones that were never theirs to sit upon.
Men are only better at hiding jealousy than women.
My sister once missed uni because she was forming feminist and grown at 18. 😂
We kept getting reports that she refused to do chores at home and always said I’m 18, I’m grown. She later got admission into a private uni, but me & my brothers refused to pay her tuition that year. She missed it.
By the next year, she came back to her senses and we sorted her out. Today, she’s an OAP and doing really well.
Tough love isn’t wickedness sometimes it saves lives.
