Incidentally, forest firefighters in Canada are primarily provincial/territorial, not federal and I'd be very interested in seeing a credible source for "American help was offered and ignored" as well as "cancelled water bombers".

If Trump knew he could win (and more importantly BRAG to the world that he'd won) then he'd follow through no matter what. Trumps ego wouldn't allow him to quit.
