@em_lou_G My daughter had sciatica for about 3 months recently. Doctor put her on antidepressant (sorry, can't remember which one) which helped relax the muscle. I was very dubious, but it seemed to work. Her worst moments were evening and night as well (due to lack of movement).

Potholes? Really? You use that as a selling point? No, it's not value for money. All this in a small East Cambs town under Conservatives for many years.
