@fellowhumanbeen@Adam_Susman to add on to my first comment, I believe the Sounders are looking at a soccer specific stadium which would help with this.
@serenityposting@AChap51@Adam_Susman Proper drainage systems can dry a field to a playable level in around an hour. These two images were taking 40 minutes apart in Orlando (Orlando City SC / Orlando Storm stadium).
@KennySloth253@Adam_Susman I played on both kinds of fields. Both of my major injuries are directly caused by turf fields. In Particular a MAC Football stadium with my ankle and a Highschool Football stadium with my knee. Grass is much better on your body.
@Daddy_Laugh@alex_westry Yeah, even if it’s just playing an amateur adult leagues, it’s definitely something I want to pursue, I just have to make sure I am protecting my future aswell. Best of luck to you aswell!
@Daddy_Laugh@alex_westry I am in my final 2 years of university and wish to stay within my schools great college of business, the university I am currently at also gives me the strongest scholarship package of all schools I applied to.
@bwfast Yes, While I would love for pro/rel in the USL I personally do not think the USL is ready for it. I cannot name 12 teams that I believe are ready for USL Prem. It is possible to take MLS seriously while wanting better from both MLS and USL ownership.
This had me thinking about San Diego FC's Right to Dream Academy which goes against pay to play.
If you get into SDFC's academy then your parent doesn't pay anything. The academy is 11-18 years old, fully funded by Right to Dream, and focuses on football development + education.
