Huge win! Government announces plans to open up the Land Registry.
If delivered, will finally reveal more about who owns land in England and Wales.
Read my blog post for more details & how you can write to the Minister to make sure this now happens:

First things first. It really matters that there is good data on who owns what land.
Without this, it's it much much harder to build the houses we need, track down money launderers, and protect our national security.
This is why we work on it at @CFPData - it’s fundamental.
Re-creation of The Tasting Garden by Mark Dion in Lancaster - donations are requested by the Friends of Storey Gardens arehttps://www.spacehive.com/recreating-the-tasting-garden-artwork
The placement of these first two sculptures is the start of a programme to replicate the full twenty-one that formed part of Mark Dion’s design for the Tasting Garden with each plinth, bearing a sculpture of its fruit, erected in front of each tree. https://t.co/5EHHOP1VFo
Delighted to speak to @BBCPanorama for their programme tonight 'Will King Charles change the Monarchy?', about mapping Royal land & the secrecy surrounding the Crown's landholdings.
Here, published for the first time, is my map of all Royal land: https://t.co/fY3AOKeyc9
@herdyshepherd1@st_jamescheese It's difficult to imagine what life would have been like before the Enclosures. I've been looking into our local lost common - a 1500 acre open field system, with downland and water meadows. the local community had a leazing (gleaning) day. And all had access for fairs etc.
'Unnatural England': Why does @NaturalEngland, the Govt's nature watchdog, own just 0.37% of England?
I present a new map of Natural England's landholdings, and make the case for why- in a nature crisis - it should be given resources to buy up more land:

BREAKING: Wealthy landowner wins court case to extinguish the right to wild camp on Dartmoor - the only place where it’s been legal in England
This is an outrage & @Right_2Roam & @EveryonesStars are mobilising - follow them to join the rebellion
The richest few in the UK are taking too much - while the rest of us are struggling to get by.
It's time to share the wealth we all create and give everyone a chance of a healthy, prosperous life.
