A ton of macro in the game has been lost in favor of instant dopamine hit gameplay. Classic league back in the day had strategy to the game even if we were bad at the game.

When to use mana to trade, jungle camp timer tracking, farm leads don't mean anything now with catch-up exp, abilities didn't just 1 tap you 1 item in.
