🚨Full interview of Egypt's Coach Hossam Hassan at full-time:
"I will say what's on my mind regardless of the consequence, this was clearly a rigged match and the whole world saw it"
"And I want to say one more thing, if they want Argentina to win so bad, why call everyone to come and participate?"
@LoyleMoltisanti Acting like Messi fans weren't celebrating his goals against Algeria lol, did you even watch the amt of media scrutiny he got after the Congo game! Jordan's 72nd ranked worse than uzb, you'll find ppl celebrating Messi goals! Stop crying, it's their last WC! Fans will celebrate.
There is a Manish Pandey story I’ve shared with almost nobody.
In 2018, during India’s T20I series against West Indies, the team had a short mid-series break for Diwali. I happened to be on the same flight back - Lucknow to Bangalore - as Manish Pandey.
He was seated one row ahead of me, alone, headphones on, quiet through the journey. He hadn’t featured in the series at all till then. Beside him sat an elderly lady.
When the flight landed, we all got off and headed towards the baggage carousel. I walked past Manish at one point, wished him luck for the games ahead, and carried on.
A little later, I noticed the elderly lady looking worried. Her phone had switched off and she was trying to contact her daughter, who was waiting outside the airport to pick her up. She tapped Manish on the shoulder, unaware who he was. He immediately took off his headphones, listened carefully, and without a second thought handed over his own phone so she could make the call.
Once the call was done, Manish ensured she had collected her luggage and he walked out of the airport with her, parting ways only after seeing the lady spot her daughter.
I still remember standing there watching it unfold quietly from behind. It’s not some grand story. But this one always stayed with me.
Today feels like a good day to share it.
@Pran__07 That's why Venky has F up KKR! I think it's valid on Zinta's part to talk politely if they lose 6 btb after 6 wins, you've bottled the entire campaign.
Gautam Gambhir told Sakib Hussain’s family after the IPL 2024 title win that he would do well for KKR whenever he gets his chance. Sakib has also mentioned this in his interview. However, since then GG left KKR for Team India, Sakib was released ahead of the mega auction & never signed back. #SRH signed him tonight he made his debut and ended with figures of 4 overs 24/4. Gautam Gambhir's vision is on another level. We need him back so badly.
We hope you care about this beautiful team, sir. As a KKR fan, today it was shameful to see how we conducted ourselves. There was no fight, hunger or urgency given the context of this match.
Why did we become complacent after winning one season? Why didn't we plan to ride on it?
For last 8 years, the one season where CEO wasn't calling shots, we won. Why have we restored back to losing ways?
Why did we bring in a mentor who has no association with KKR? Are we some joke who can gulp up anything in the garb of team above anything when all this is destroying the team?
Why did we have to stick with the same coach when he was a disaster when Gambhir was not around and again he is showing us how capable he is of destroying the team other than cutting sleeves of his own players.
These are tactically ill people. Why as the defending champions we didn't hire or get the best of the best?
Here's hoping IPL isn't just a 400cr cash-cow for you, because for us as the fan of this KKR team - the emotional value is much more.
