Together with Flashbots and Hallway, Azuki launched the Bobu Magic Show, an AI-powered livestream that brought our character Bobu to life in an interactive way.
Here’s a recap and why it matters 👇

So… it’s full view Friday in the Garden. ⛩️
My Azuki just can’t take a break and listen to music in peace without his Beanz always bothering him.
Anyone else have this problem?
In the early days at Azuki, we developed ERC721A and later PBT (EIP-5791). It was exciting to work entirely within web3.
As Azuki grew, so did our responsibility to onboard more people from web2.
We recognized the potential to make a significant impact on the space by growing an original IP and building a product for mainstream adoption, all while leveraging the foundation of our NFT collectorship.
With that vision in mind, we're creating an original Azuki anime series and working towards launching Anime.com, a platform for anime fans worldwide.
Not all teams will or should operate like we do. Some teams focus entirely on web3 experimentation, while others prioritize bridging the gap with web2. Both approaches are essential and we need teams across the spectrum.
My advice: find your team’s sweet spot - understand your strengths and build relentlessly toward your vision.
There's no one size fits all path. We all started in web3, but each of us can carve our own route to where we want to go.
I'm incredibly excited about the future of Anime.com!
The announcement was met with a lot of enthusiasm and some expected skepticism. I'm grateful for the overwhelmingly positive response we've received.
The anime community is passionate and protective, so it's on us to prove the value we can bring.
The Azuki team and community is made up of anime fans, we're working with legends in the industry on our original Azuki anime, and together we have a vision for how we can improve the space.
Anime 2.0 isn’t about disruption, it’s about enhancement. It’s about growing the fandom, not gatekeeping. It’s about ownership, transparency, and connection that’s only enabled through web3.
I hope you will join us in this journey 🙏
Today we're introducing https://t.co/aS7KvK18c1, a new way to anime.
It’s time to show the world how web3 can create fun and unique consumer experiences. I can’t wait to release more details soon. For now, go save yourself a seat and join the waitlist.
So why are we building this product?
Everything we do supports our vision of Anime 2.0, a future where fans and creators can own and share upside in the industry that they help build. Let’s break down the pieces…
The journey towards Anime 2.0 starts with an anime IP and community that embraces this vision. That’s why we’ve been building Azuki over the past two years.
The next piece of Anime 2.0 is the infrastructure to support apps and fandom attribution. We’ve partnered with Arbitrum to be the premier launch partner on AnimeChain.
Instead of splitting our focus and going after a broad ecosystem right away, we're focused vertically on the rapidly growing anime industry. We're going deeper, not wider.
Which brings us to the final piece that will make Anime 2.0 a reality: a flagship platform for anime fans around the world - https://t.co/aS7KvK18c1.
The right time for this product is now.
With over 600M anime fans globally, the anime community already drives cultural impact through fan art, content, and events. Yet, despite their influence, they are scattered across fragmented platforms that don’t truly serve their needs.
https://t.co/aS7KvK18c1 puts fans and creators at the heart, celebrating the creativity, passion, and diversity of the anime community. Anime fans deserve more, and today we take the first step toward delivering what they’ve been waiting for.
We’ll be releasing the product in phases, but here’s what you need to know for now:
Expect a variety of IPs. Expect fun. Expect core platform components to be onchain, making engagement more meaningful, personal, and interconnected.
Everything we're working on amplifies the @animecoin flywheel:
Azuki

There’s much more to come. For now, just go save yourself seat.
