A low-pressure area currently located in the Mediterranean Sea is producing thunderstorms and moving eastward, and has a decreasing chance of developing into a Medicane.

EXTREME windstorm could develop this evening near Canada, with sustained winds up to 150 km/h and gusts up to 200 km/h or more. Right now it's at Windstorm status, where 100 km /h sustained winds have been measured and gusts up to 130 km/h.
