@FredtheDinoman My favorite element of our Utahraptor is presenting that curve in the jaw.

It's such a cool and unique part of the Utahraptor that I feel really accentuates it's intimidating look (beyond it's monsterous size ahahah)

As for feather placement, one major inspiration for us was @FredtheDinoman 's guide on Feathering for Raptors.

It was an invaluable resource for us not only for designing the Utahraptor but also for designing our Deinonychus (which we will reveal later 😉)

Speaking of Feathering and other Bird traits, we also made sure to reference real birds for other design elements on our Utahraptor.

From feathering patterns, the look of skin and scutes, as well as feather placement!

Not only did we make sure to emphasize the Utahraptor's feathering, but we also utilized other elements from modern birds such as their Tongue.

Since the dino has its mouth open for our pose, we believed it was a great opportunity to introduce an element that isn't seen often!

When designing the Utahraptor, we wanted to have a beautiful blend between Stylization and Accuracy.

We teamed up with Artist and Conceptual designer Neil Kaskoun to ensure we represent it effectively.

We took cues from modern birds to really emphasize that birds are Dinosaurs!

Looks like everyone is very excited about the new #Utahraptor for Jurassic World Evolution 2! We definitely are too!
