In 1776, slavery was a normalized global practice with no model for abolition anywhere else in the world. As @SecRubio said, America has constantly improved over time because our Christian heritage gave us the foundation to move past those global norms. We self reflect and we grow.
Today, the biggest threat is a globalist agenda implemented through racist, communist plants like Obama, AOC, Mandani, Illan Omar etc (Insert the next racist America hater)... who want to destroy the exact moral heritage that allowed us to progress. This is why they can never speak of our history with any reverence. They must demonize the past (tear down the statues, rewrite the history books, add a different skin color to the character of a old story) so they can manipulate and control the future. These people and their movement are pure evil.
