Now I've found my niche, my timeline, on Xbox, and I'm pretty happy with it. 💚😊
I just have a passion for video games. Especially Xbox, and I make no secret of that. I get a lot for my money there. 🤷♂️
I'm very excited to see what the Xbox 25 will bring on the table. 🤩🥰
IO Interactive's original (online) fantasy RPG project is "being developed in partnership with an external publisher and financier."
The project was announced in 2021 and FTC court documents later revealed it could have been backed by Microsoft.

Valve says it’s ready to launch the Steam Machine this summer. Still no price though. The Steam Frame VR headset is also shipping in the summer https://t.co/EtQrL1qzxP
From Asha Sharma's inteview with Emily Chang via Bloomberg Tech:
“We're increasingly becoming a platform. In order to be a platform you must have exclusive content and services. We’re looking at that very closely. I think that we have to be very thoughtful about each title, on how we want to think about it, and learn from similar cases in the industry, and that’s what we’re doing.”
I fully expect some inventive reinterpretations, though the statement is unequivocal.
Twas a flamethrower episode. Lots of spice. @JamieMoranUK & I Talked Xbox Sunday Showcase, State of Play, logos, BC, exclusives, Helix, 25th Anniversary festivities, Stargate, and much more. Check it out!
She's learning quickly. Studying history is a great teacher. There are reasons why some things have remained a constant in gaming even as other aspects have evolved. Not all franchises are created equal, and not all things should be exclusive, but a mix is needed.
Asha Sharma via Bloomberg: "To start revive Xbox, we shipped more in the last 100 days than in the last year; Game Pass returned to growth. Most importantly, we starting to get back being closer to our players & community. For the next 100 days, we have to reset the business."
Asha Sharma has openly acknowledged they’re not in a healthy spot, and her mandate is to reset the business. Anyone claiming that everything is continuing unchanged, or that concerns about brand health are misplaced, is flat wrong.
What you might’ve missed:
"We invest in subsidies even when we’re losing money, because of memory and storage. We’re long on gaming, we’re long on XBOX, and we’ll keep investing, but we’ve got work to do. You’ve shared the numbers - we’re not in a healthy spot. The next hundred days is going to be about resetting the business."
Asha Sharma via Bloomberg: "(...) we are increasingly becoming a platform and in order to be a platform you must have exclusive content and services. We are looking into that, we have to be very thoughtful about each title and learn from similar cases in the industry."
We're getting so close 👀
