@WESTCOASTDOC At a WGCI music summit in Chicago, around 1994, I got to ask the great Chuck D what he thought about white people making Hip Hop. He said (paraphrased) that as long as Hip Hop is being elevated and respected he was good with it. I will always take his opinion on Hip Hop.

I actually first heard “Bring the Noise” because of the Less Than Zero soundtrack. Some one got it for me because I loved The Bangles’ cover of Hazy Shade of Winter by Simon & Garfunkel. Once I heard BTN, changed my life.
