As we walked through the loss of Harrison there were several things that were extremely helpful in our healing process.
A few of those resources are a part of what we pass along to other bereaved parents in the beginning of their grief journey.

While we may not understand the why, it's our trust in God that makes life after loss possible.
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding."- Proverbs 3:5
Since 2008, #RareDiseaseDay has created a global rare disease community unified for one goal: uplifting and empowering those affected by rare diseases. We are excited to join @NORD to bring light to rare diseases. #ShowYourStripes
Our prayer for you today, regardless of the loss you have experienced, is that you would be able to "return home laughing with armloads of blessings."

We knew that we wanted to find some way to celebrate Harrison's life on the first anniversary of his passing.
Thanks to your continued generosity we were able to provide lunch for the team at Vandy that took such great care of Harrison during the last few weeks we had together!

Through your generosity, we are making an incredible impact for families with prolonged NICU stays or loss of their infant!
"So encourage each other with these words."
We are encouraged through God's Word and His Promise that we will be called up to spend eternity with Him and Harrison.
One year ago today, after being home from the NICU for just 10 days we returned with Harrison. Within a few hours of being admitted the doctors suspected it was a genetic disorder. Capturing these little smiles made all the hours of worry worth it. He was such a brave patient!
1 year ago today we were breaking free from our 52 day NICU stay. Not how we planned it, but thankful that we did get to bring Harrison home. So many families who experience loss donβt get that opportunity. Praising God that we got to spend some time at home as a family of 3!
It is through our faith in Christ that allows us to know that our grief will become "wonderful joy" one day!
We hope that your 2022 is filled with joy!
