Well that’s it from us, a final game defeat, but watching them on the pitch for the last time was the best thing, going to miss it being as one but new beginnings for us @Lyetowngirls18 , but what a journey we’ve had ❤️🤍

It’s been a rollercoaster toehther but one we knew had to come to an end. I must say as manager I’ve never been so happy and enjoyed football than I have coaching these lot. And what a way to do it as runners up 🥲🔴⚪️

So as we approach the final weeks of the season, it’ll be our last weeks together as Stourbridge. Due to the new layout from Stourbridge, as we were due to move to under 18s, which they have turned into a development ladies side, it’ll see the end of us as a team.

With a few players staying with Stourbridge for the coming season, the majority of the team, along with myself will see us move to a new club, which we’ll represent as under 18s next season.

It has been nothing but enjoyment the whole way throughout my time with the girls, with this being our 4th season together, we’ve grown and developed every year, runners up in the cup and 3rd in the league last year, to 2nd in the league this year shows the development.

Not a bad game in truth but one we deserved to win. 2 own goals saw us get the win but a spirited and passionate performance got us over the line. Great courage from the girls to see us over the line with 10 players at the end of a game 🔴

2 goals coming in an electric 15 minutes from us. Ellie williams and Jas. some great individual performances. Not the greatest second half but we take the win and keep on track for a second place finish. Annie and jas with POTM👏

Well our last ever home game tomorrow. At home to burton albion looking to extend our run to finish 2nd. Cannot wait for this. Will also be great to see Ruby back after 4 months out!!!

Proud. Such a fantastic performance with and without the ball. 3 mistakes 3 goals for them but tactically we were superb keeping there best players quiet. Massive mention to GK jas with some superb saves also, Ciara with our goal. 4 games left ❤️

Not too many negatives after that, Coventry are the best team we have faced , but for 40 minutes we frustrated them, perfecting our tactical game plan. An early goal in the second half to put them 2-0 up forced into changes, but plenty positives.

A scoreline which suggests what we was. Clinical after taking an early 5-0 lead but taking our foot of the gas allowing Evesham 2 goals. Ciara with 3 Erin with 1 Ellie with 2 and maya scoring to put us on 34 points after 15 games. 7 cup finals to go.❤️🤍
