A wind advisory is in effect until 7pm this evening. South winds 20 to 30 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected, until 7 PM EST this evening. Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Crews will be conducting live fire training behind the Stow Fire Department Tonight (Monday December 11th) between 6:30pm and 9:00pm. Residents may notice smoke in the area of the fire station/community center while this training is being conducted

Today we remember the W6. These six firefighters died in the line of duty on December 3rd, 1999 in the Worcester cold storage building while searching for victims. This fire resulted in changes in the fire service in MA & hits close to home for our current and past members
