Losing a baby is one of the most heartbreaking and challenging experiences any parent can face, and they deserve our full support.
Sinn Féin Minister Caoimhe Archibald is bringing forward paid leave for parents who experience a miscarriage, coming into effect from April.
We are also working to introduce a baby loss certificate scheme and paid leave for parents whose babies require neonatal care.
We will continue working to ensure parents receive the support they need and deserve.
This has been a dark week for democracy, as a small minority resorts to attacks and intimidation against elected representatives in an attempt to block progress.
They will not succeed.
We will not be deterred.
I will continue to work with everyone to keep moving forward to a better future for all.
