Thank you @chetan_bhagat for taking it sportingly and appreciating the work I do
First - I read the whole article before saying what I said and I know where you're coming from
I do agree that cases like these invite us to introspect on issues that are plaguing the society & those we seldom wish to talk about
But I certainly don't agree on putting this case in the basket you tried to
Siya is not someone who didn't have a voice. Not someone who didn't know what she was doing. She's perfect example of criminals who thought they had hatched a perfect plan. It discomforts you or the larger society because we presume that women are always victims of circumstances
They're NOT. Infact it is this very presumption that just so many take advantage of & also get away owing to their gender.
The question we ought to ask is not why Siya couldn't take NO but why so many women are finding it easy to destroy an innocent life rather than taking accountability for decisions they make in life
Behind this murder, there are countless cases where a woman didn't say no, got married & then put plethora of false cases on husband just because he was an easy scapegoat
We deal with such cases everyday. Those men are choked along with their families every single day for no fault
So the real question is - is it time to gauge crimes irrespective of Gender or always find an excuse if a woman commits it
‼️An Indian family visits Venice & can't take the sewage stench 🤢
Husband asks the wife,You wanted to visit Venice after watching a movie. How is it?
Then looking at his children closing their noses, he laughs and asks what happened?
If this was India, X will give 1B views.
Ram Mandir Chori
Land buying Real Estate CMs
Now Minister grabbing subsidies for self gain from a department under him.
Taaliyaan.
BJP corruption model unravelling by the day. But news channels stopped hearing, talking or debating about corruption since 2014. 🙈 🙉 🐵
Indians are the only people in the world who quietly pay for every government failure out of their own pocket.
Dirty water? Buy an RO.
No electricity? Buy an inverter.
Polluted air? Buy an air purifier.
No gas supply? Buy an induction.
Bad schools? Pay for private tuition.
We don’t protest. We purchase.
And then the government calls it “growing consumer economy.”
@Nick_762_54r Ambani did not buy land next to his house or in front of it because some people will make flats on it. And you have no clue what is survival of fittest. You just like how it sounds so you use it here & there.
Sarthak Mattoo, 34 years old, was mowed down by a speeding Mahindra Thar on Rajokri Flyover, leaving him dead and his family inconsolable…
The driver has been caught, 30 years old Apurva Singh, who was driving this Thar in a rash and brazen manner.
Yet another Thar, yet another life lost.
@nitin_gadkari ji, apart from focussing on petrol and ethanol, please conduct psychometric assessment of people who buy SUVs, especially Thar. There should be a special license for this so that others’ lives are saved 🙏🏻
They are white. They can jump in shit water. Just go to Venice. It is stench. Could not stand. But pictures of people jumping in, going around in boats, look nice. Our people in villages when they jump in canals, running water, or even lakes, are looked down upon. Style is important.
@IAmSteveHarvey Being present. Life keeps accelerating bills, responsibilities, losses and your mind is always somewhere else. You stop living in moments and start surviving them. And by the time you notice, years have gone by.
