@natalie_thenerd I don't understand the prioritization of the output capacitor over the switching node here. Or the inductor polarity being on Vout instead of the switching node. Maybe I'm missing something?

@no1089 @natalie_thenerd Am I crazy or did they note the polarity backwards? Every shielded inductor I've ever used had the inside of the inductor on the polarity marking, meaning you'd want it at the switch node, not at the output

I agree that getting an AC only makes climate change worse if you don't use carbon neutral energy sources though

@yozoralux @LadyMar21878376 @MattWolfgang @6gauntlets Yeah but that's not REALLY the problem. The problem is the energy source for them. Run AC on renewable energy and the waste heat doesn't move the needle on the climate.

Climate change is effectively entirely due to solar energy being trapped by greenhouse gasses.
