@Anchor_Pointe Crews lesson today was all about empathy! Our activity had us all step forward if we had experience certain things. One question was if they had ever done the chicken dance. Many kids did not step forward, so we knew how to end our lesson!

What a great day! @Anchor_Pointe 1st graders reviewed our human body unit as “doctors”. Then, nurse Jill came and answered lots of questions! Second year of using the lab coats and stethoscopes from the @BPSF92 grant! 🩻🩺

I love when learning takes place outside of our classroom. For science today we explored our school looking for light! We think the skylight is the coolest light source in our school! @Anchor_Pointe

These kids have been rocking this school year! So many gold coin tickets turned in for prizes, lunch dates on our @Anchor_Pointe picnic tables, and computer time instead of morning work! They earn tickets for being Anchor Pointe role models from any teacher at AP!
