For the first time yesterday, I experienced the new @alamodrafthouse QR code ordering system and I can tell you it’s truly awful. Rather than making ordering food and drink more efficient, it actually adds steps to the process AND if you want to order additional items during the film you HAVE to open your phone. No, your cute reference to that irony in your How To Alamo video doesn’t negate how ridiculous this is. Please don’t cut corners with your staff and revert back to physical menus and order cards.
@Noahpinion In my experience it’s less crime and more just bad behavior. Speaker phone calls, playing music on a speaker, eating and drinking, sleeping taking up more than one seat, bad hygiene, etc.
Not sure if any of these are illegal but it does create a poor environment.
@Jugulator__95@oliver_drk I don’t believe that the average San Franciscan is worth five times more than someone in Detroit or Cleveland or Cincinnati that could help make these games.
@oliver_drk Ultimately it’s going to take companies saying, “you make video games. You are not a surgeon. You will make $70k to start in Iowa, not $250k in San Francisco”. Your average Iowan is not 1/5th the intelligence of someone in San Francisco.
