I was asked after basketball season to join track to do the high jump. I’ve just been doing this for a few weeks. I won my second meet and am now ranked #45 (nationally) and #6 (NC) by mile split. I am still working on my form but jumped 6’6 @HHSHuskyHoops@Husky_Sports
The NC Basketball Coaches Association has released its all-district teams for the 2025-26 season.
Each district has a first, second, and third team with one POTY and one COTY.
We've got their full list below ⤵️⤵️
7A #NCHSAA Matchups #PhenomHoops
East
#1 Southern Durham vs. #9 Clayton
#5 New Hanover vs. #13 Garner
#3 Lumberton vs. #11 Heritage
#2 Cardinal Gibbons vs. #10 Riverside-Durham
West
#1 North Meck vs. #8 Weddington
#4 Hickory Ridge vs. #12 Davie County
#3 Marvin Ridge vs. #11 West Meck
#2 Mooresville vs. #10 Independence
Most Intriguing Matchups:
- Mooresville vs. Independence: Mooresville has tremendous balance, offensive firepower, and have proven themselves all season long with experienced guard. But Indy's record doesn't represent this team and their toughness, as this looks to be a battle.
- Marvin Ridge vs. West Meck: What Coach Ewell has done at West Meck has been impressive, but they will go up against a balanced, veteran, and sneaky group in Marvin Ridge who has been thriving all season long. Two coaches that know each other very well, there is a lot on the line in this game.

40 points, 9 threes. In 3 quarters. @StrandRyder broke both school records last night.
All 9 of his 3's & 35 of those points in the first half. I've been able to witness a lot of great performances; this one was special.
