Sadly, @piodem passed away yesterday. In addition to being the leading Italian reporter in Japan, Pio had helped our community on numerous occasions during the travel ban. I like to think that if I'm in Japan now, it's also because of him. He will be sorely missed. Ciao Pio!
Many thanks to @piodem for interviewing @FilippoPi2 on @SkyTG24 as well, addressing the issues international students are facing when it comes to CoE dates and quarantine.
(1/6) Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to Everyone!
It was a very challenging year for the #japantravelban and #educationisnottourism communities.
Finally, long term residents and short term visitors are now able to enter #Japan 🧵
The past few years have seen a decrease in the number of private institutions around the world teaching Japanese and the overall number of students.
