@Michael95494331 Rain delays at Indianapolis are far from unheard of. The previous setup had the Monaco Grand Prix ending long before the race began, as would many other European races. I’m not sure what my age or level maturity has to do with it, but thanks for the advice! You have a good day 👍

F1 is having a red letter day. Very silly to punish a driver for showing emotion and losing his temper when a car has failed. Smacks of the referee wanting to be a part of the conversation. Meanwhile taking a car out of the race costs you just 10s. Crackers. 🤷🏻‍♂️

‘Negative Ghostrider, the pattern is full.’ Kyle Busch’s response to a request to draft during a race years ago. Off the bat in Cup the Shrub was a missile, whip fast on the radio, and a force of nature off it. He’s gone, just like that. I’m at a loss.

I love it that Max Verstappen is doing the @24hNBR. But please don’t make the mistake of thinking this year’s race is extra mega. It’s ALWAYS this mega. It is amusing watching F1 types ‘discover’ the race. It’s brilliant, however, to have the spotlight on GT racing. Thanks Max!

For a lot of fans of a certain age, this car captured the spirit of sportscar racing in the mid-1980s; if not the trophies! RIP Bob Tullius, if nothing else, we’ll always have this beauty.

@mrsnickhodge @GrandPrixDiary Marketing has its place. And the sport is attracting enormous audiences. But F1 cars absolutely should not coast into a sixth gear corner on a qualifying lap. That’s the engineering monkey running the zoo. And the walls of its cage are now made of ‘show’, not ‘pursuit of speed’.

@GrandPrixDiary It’s different this time around. They’re all invested and the teams grow in value every year. Ten of the 11 teams will turn a healthy profit this year, and Cadillac will within four. There is no reason to stop, and that means they will continue to push agendas.
