Interested in a tenure-track position in geoscience at Mount Holyoke College? When our covid-related hiring freeze ends (hopefully this spring or next fall), we will start a search for a geoscientist whose interests are in the earth, ocean, atmospheric, or polar sciences.
This is so cool! Spirula spirula is a cosmopolitan species whose small white coiled shells are a common find (e.g. on West Coast beaches in Aotearoa), but the live animals is almost never seen. And... The shell is pointing down?!
@faunaparra It might not be helpful, but have you heard of the paleozoic pals plushies by the Paleontological Research Institution? They've done plushies through kickstarter. I'm not sure who they went through to get them made, but you may be able to ask them ❤
