I've seen hundreds of tweets about telling women to stop having sex if they don't want to get pregnant but I've seen zero calls for men to become celibate. It will never cease to amaze me how little men are blamed for getting someone pregnant. This is about control and patriarchy
i love when people are like "how can you be a Catholic & pro-choice" it's super easy when you treat faith as a personal relationship rather than forcing your religion on everyone else in a country based on religious freedoms, maybe try that????
If you’re against abortion, don’t get one.
If you’re against contraception, don’t take any.
If you’re against same-sex relationships, don’t have one.
If you’re against same-sex marriage, don’t marry someone of same gender.
Do not impose your beliefs & religion on all Americans.
@ellle_em @GodDammitWarren I (15M) constantly back my mom (23F) into a corner in the kitchen demanding food while she’s making lunch for work even though I have a perfectly good bowl of prescribed wet food just inches away from me. AITA?
@jaymo1978 @KatyaRahel @swarthypretense @peachlemonbee Even if you need to rearrange stuff while you’re subbing, the least you could do is put everything back where you found it. People really lack common courtesy
I propose we make the 2022-23 school year about learning deceleration.
Let's slow learning down; let's enjoy it; let's give kids time and space to reflect and make decision.
Because the sense of urgency is squeezing all of the humanity--and the joy--out of learning.
Making it hard on educators and publicly demeaning them is not only hurting educators, but also hurting their students.
Educators need support so they can better support students.
