If you stake ATOM with a non-exchange validator, congratulations, you’re among the few that care about the Cosmos Hub (or maybe you’re just securing your own wealth).

For the people that intend to vote on proposal 811 and are thinking about $ATOM and not the Cosmos Hub.. let’s talk using simple language:

1) you’ll have a lot of things to do with your $ATOM without moving it to a different chain (Yes, OmniFlix included)

2) a lot of protocols (from Ethereum, Solana, etc) would want to expand and tap into the ecosystem & liquidity of $ATOM

3) $ATOM price go up? Idk. DYOR.

Personally, excited even if it is a poorly worded draft reducing the level of a VM to an App Store. Imagine if EVM was introduced as a way to power an App Store 🥲😂

Nothing against App Stores which make millions or even billions of $ when App Store revenue from across all BigTech companies running their own App Stores is summed up! Just not the right way to look at it. What does this even mean? A single UI or a VM?

Genuinely curious! What about alternate VMs like @agoric’s VM? Won’t contracts powered by that be a part of the dApp store? 🤷‍♂️ 🤣
