Changes to the Project Plan :

1. Flight Testing: The plan requires testing five different prototypes. The flight testing will grow over time, reaching 1800 flights by the 84th month of the project.

2. Financial Rules: The project will now use the SBI MCLR rate instead of the LIBOR rate to calculate interest on specific payments and refunds.

3. Maintenance Costs: The estimated cost to maintain the prototypes is 5% of the prototype cost each year. This cost will now increase over time based on CPI WPI numbers instead of CPI IW.

4. New Testing Equipment: The project now specifically requires a Lightning Test Rig along with the Mobile EMI and EMC setup.

5. Material Handling: The Aeronautical Development Agency will provide insurance for government owned materials only while they are being moved. The partner company must store and handle these items following strict rules.

#WATCH | Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh: On the commissioning ceremony of INS Mahendragiri, Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Krishna Swaminathan says, "... Mahendragiri is the fourth and final warship in the Project 17 Alpha built by MDL (Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited). The vessel has more than 75% indigenous components. Through this project, MDL and the Indian Navy have achieved three major milestones. First, the time from launch to delivery has been reduced by nearly 50%, from 63 months to 31 months. Second, the overall construction period has been cut by around 20%, from 95 months to 75 months. Third, instead of the usual five to seven sea trials, the ship met all requirements in a single sea trial. These achievements reflect the combined efforts of MDL, Indian manufacturers, MSMEs, the Indian Navy's warship overseeing team, trial agencies and the ship's crew."
