@elonmusk I'm a teacher. I can't imagine many of us (if any) saying this. I always advocate kids learning on their own as well as school. Teachers WANT kids to learn as much as possible and most aren't self important enough to think they are the only source of learning in a child's life.

I teach US history, and we're just starting English colonies. I said Elizabeth I ruled when the first (unsuccessful) English settlement began. One student was very confused and asked, "Didn't she just die today?" Had to let him know she's a different person. #QueenElizabeth

I know everyone is upset about the roe v wade ruling today. So am I. But... If we're looking at the long game, elect democrats so we can get an actual amendment to make abortion legal. Oh, and since legal precedent is out the door, let's revisit rulings on the 2nd amendment too

I heard on the news today that gun violence is the most common cause of death for children instead of the old standby, car accidents. Well yeah, you have to pass a written and practical test, do an eye exam, and get a license to drive a car legally.
