We look forward to them leading their teams to even greater success in this new role!
We worked closely with @DTE_Energy, @HAADetroit, and the civil engineers to ensure existing utilities were robust enough to handle the infrastructure for The Preserve on Ash. We've helped set the stage for a reliable and efficient power system for this new community.
Projects like the GISD Fire Training Center remind us how impactful engineering can be--equipping students with the skills, confidence, and real-world experience they need to step into critical roles in our community

LGBTQ+ seniors now have a safe space in Ferndale's Raymond E. Shepherd House. It's a testament to the power in creating spaces that welcome everyone, and we're proud to have been a part of this impactful project.

Last week, we got into the holiday spirit with an after-work social featuring a gingerbread house decorating contest! We put our architectural and structural skills to the test and had a fantastic evening filled with creativity, good food, great company, and plenty of laughs.
We’re so pleased to welcome Ron Olsey to the SES team as our new Mechanical Designer! Ron brings a wealth of expertise and fresh perspective to our projects. We look forward to seeing his contributions drive innovation and success
Last night, Mike, Huong, Paul, and Brett had the pleasure of attending the @The_IES Detroit December meeting. Big thank you to IES for hosting such a great event—opportunities like these keep us inspired and connected.
Looking forward to the next one!
Pedro passed the PE exam! 🎉
This achievement is a testament to Pedro’s hard work, dedication, and commitment to professional excellence. Becoming a PE is no small feat, and this milestone reflects the high standards he brings to every project.
Way to go Pedro! 👏
Sometimes, #MEPengineering means rolling up your sleeves, grabbing your plans, and getting up close and personal with the space you're designing...or in this case, UNDER the space!
It's great applying our geo expertise to this project, which involved replacing outdated HVAC systems with an efficient #geothermal heat pump system. It’s so fulfilling to help preserve history while supporting a more #sustainable future!

It's #GivingTuesday!
One of our favorite ways to show that SES CARES is through our Employee Match Program. Team members get to amplify their individual #charitablegiving with a match by SES, and we get to diversify the organizations we support. It's a win-win!
Our office #Friendsgiving potluck was nothing short of groovy! We gathered around the table, sharing not just incredible homemade dishes but also laughter, camaraderie, and gratitude.
We hope you all have a Happy #Thanksgiving filled with #gratitude, joy and connection!
Last week, our team took a break from the daily grind to come together for a fun after-work social, crafting custom candles and enjoying delicious food and great conversation.
Our culture is built not just on hard work, but on the connections we foster with one another!
Congrats Overmyer Lofts on its Preservation Merit Award!
We helped bring modern MEP solutions to the historic landmark. It reflects a principle we strongly value: the greenest building is often the one that already exists.
Cheers to everyone who brought this gem back to life!
At #MSBO, we hosted a contest and received this great photo from Grosse Pointe Public Schools, showing the kids enjoying the new soccer balls and nets they won through it. Knowing the equipment is helping them learn, play, and grow is exactly why one of our core values is CARE!
