I have just seen that Microsoft just announced they will be incorporating Python into Excel, which would allow users to add Python code directly into a spreadsheet. This sounds very exciting 🤓
The Associated Press (AP) has just issued guidelines on artificial intelligence use. They state they will not allow AI to be used to create publishable content or images. AP does however encourage staff members to learn about AI. #AI#artificialintelligence
As a University educator, I am concerned about my students losing the skill to "critically reflect" themselves: challenging what they see.
It's a tool that both educator and student can use, but there still needs to be social interaction with all parties.
A recent article on CNBC stated that Bill Gates has a vision for how AI chatbots could help transform education, offering helpful feedback on essays. It needed to clarify what level he was referring to.
Fable Simulation recently managed to create an episode of South Park using AI. As a marketeer, I am now using AI to do things I would have employed someone else. Specific sectors will go: how will these individuals be supported?
I just read an interesting article on Forbes by @joemckendrick. The thing that jumped out at me was Vittorio Cretella (CIO of Procter & Gamble) stating that AI will not replace human talent but rather amplify those talents.
