Retired Indian army Colonel Waibhav Anil Kale(11 JAK RIF), who joined the United Nations Department of Safety & Security (DSS) two months ago died near Rafah, Gaza after coming under attack.
Col. Waibhav Anil Kale (Retd) is the first international UN casualty since the beginning of the Israeli conflict. He was working for United Nations as the security service coordinator for amonth in Gaza.

There you go. In closed room chats we’ve been trying to put out some random scenarios where our national interests will be compromised despite being good buyers from the US, Israel or Russia. Here is one that came true but with the wrong guy. I believed we’d be first to be given the middle finger. There’s just one way to go - know that U’re screwed, take a long breath, bring in all stakeholders, give deliverables & timelines, tell the true indian OEM’s that we’ll go out of the way & throw the foreign guys out if u just give us what we want, tell the foreign OEM’s that we’re not interested if u don’t put money in India & transfer real tech, pour serious funds in to fundamental sciences and R&D via Co-developments, give the mad scientists a free reign but hold them to some result orientation
