Even with our wonderful tap watering is hard work. Thank you Jane I could not have completed the job without you. How heavy is a watering can full of water!!!
If you're working on your garden this weekend, check out our list of plant recommendations - https://t.co/GCU2ZdcX0j, with a focus on red, white and blue π
#EnviroRight: Lightweight items like polystyrene cups, plastic straws, stirrers and cutlery are often carried by the wind into waterways. Please use on-street litter bins for these items or take your rubbish home with you #DontBeATosser
Do you have any repair skills that you could share with others? Then we need you for our new Repair Cafe @F0undationHouse in partnership with Net Zero Stratford! https://t.co/x8BghpO7Xp

Our Jubilee crown for the Community Service at Holy Trinity. Thanks to our trustee Rosalind for creating this, using silk flowers and other materials recycled from previous projects. Will be on display in Holy Trinity for a further week.
Based on comments from local folk and passers-by, I've strimmed the edge of our meadow green a little wider and made a "ride" so that people can easily see and get to the wildflower circle. Surprisingly warm work for an hour, so now sitting down in the garden with a cuppa! β
The long border at Parkway has some flowers blooming, although the plants still look a bit stressed to me. In about 10 years time I'll have added enough organic matter to make them more comfortable!
This year, Stratford is growing 'Carpets for the Queen', to mark the platinum jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II. Many of the town's residents and schools have already signed up - find out more and join us here;

@StratLitFest Hello, this bed is looked after by @StratfordDC so we believe their contractor @idverdeUK will get it blooming sometime soon... πΌπΏπ»π±πΊ
Field poppies (Papaver rhoeas) and opium poppies (P. somniferum) can be sown direct in spring, providing a blaze of red. Combined with other cornfield annuals like cornflowers and ox-eye daisies, can create an informal βred, white and blueβ display πΉ #red#PlatinumJubilee
Thanks to all our members who joined us today for ramble around Rowley Fields & especially to Tony Beysens for guiding us. Look at the blossom in the #communityorchard!
