#FoodWaste is the reason why we set up Cov Harvest Hub (Coventry Food Growing Network) to ensure locally grown surplus fruit and veg gets into food banks. We grow as much as we can in our own community garden (CV5). We need help in getting it up and running. Please share fliers.

Our #communitygarden #volunteers worked hard at planting bulbs. We gave them Horticultural training in bulb planting. Before lockdown they gained 1st hand experience and then did written work which has been assessed. It'll be rewarding to see both flowers and people bloom. :-D

We've been planting #Wallflowers donated by #Idverde (who garden for @StratfordDC ). Some have gone in the planters at Foundation House and others are around the large cherry tree at our #community #garden . There are still more for our Coventry garden!!
